On Tuesday evening July 7th @ Church Road our Junior A team scored an impressive win over a strong Glen Rovers team in the semi-final of the MacCurtain Cup. On a beautiful evening for hurling, the game certainly turned out to be one of two halves, with both teams evenly matched in the first half, trading score for score and ending at half time with the Rockies 0 – 11 Glen 0 – 10. Our scorers were Eoin Coughlan 0 – 04, Fionn O'Keeffe 0 – 02, Jack Browne 0 – 02, Michael Quill 0 – 01, Lee O'Sullivan 0 – 01, Dylan Norberg 0 – 01.

Our boys really upped the ante in the second half and midway through the half had built up a nice lrad of 10 points 1 – 20 to 0 – 13. A goal from a late retaken close-in free gave the Glen their goal to reduce our lead but by then the game was done and dusted. Our second half scorers were, Eoin Coughlan 0 – 05 (0-2f, 65, ), Fionn O'Keeffe 1 – 01, Michael Quill 0 – 02, Lee O'Sullivan 0 – 01, Cian Coughlan 0 – 01, Alex Geary 0 – 01.
