2023 Mahon Point Shopping Centre Rockies Golf Classic
at Monkstown Golf Club

The Annual "Rockies Golf Classic" is a long-running event that takes place at Monkstown Golf Club, which is one of the most prestigious golf clubs in Cork and was recently awarded the "2023 Munster Parkland Course of the year" by Golfers Guide Ireland.

This year’s event will take place over 2 days on August 31st and September 1st. Support for this event has increase significantly over the past few years and this year’s event will be the first that a title sponsor will be associated with it. The ‘Rockies’ are delighted to welcome Mahon Point Shopping Centre as the title sponsor for this event for 2023 and 2024.

Speaking at the recent launch of the event at Mahon Point Shipping Centre, the Centre Director, Justin Young stated: “We are delighted to support The Rockies by sponsoring this Golf Classic which will help earn much needed funds for the club. Many of their players and supporters are also customers of our Centre so it is a nice way for us to assist the good work they do in our local community.”
